About us

B&B Consultancy was founded in 2003 by Judith Brewster, born and raised on Curaçao. Upon completing her Secundary School, she moved to The Netherlands where she studied Tax Law at the University of Leiden. She started her professional career  in Rotterdam, working as a tax consultant for 'Moret, Gudde Brinkman'.

Judith moved back to Curaçao in 1990 where she became Sr. Tax Consultant at the local branch of 'Ernst & Young’. Her career made another leap forward in 1996 when she became Senior Manager at 'Paardekooper & Hoffman’, servicing major (international) clients.

“It was very interesting to work for such large organizations. But I also learned that my personal interest is much more about local matters. I like to be involved in what’s actually happing here, on the islands. It interests me what are the people working on, what drives them and how we can support them professionaly. For me, that's more rewarding than working for large and rather anonymous companies."

Tax matters for people with a modest income, business administration for various companies and complex consultancy about international matters. We work for retired people that are winding down and for entrepreneurs who just started a new business. That is what makes our work at B&B so versatile and interesting. Never a dull moment!”
